I have known Barry Strutt for over thirty years and have always marveled at his enormous talent as a musician and songwriter, which is evident in his new composition, 'When the World Comes Back'. Kipps received numerous gold records and Broadcast Music awards while writing and producing songs for artists such as Aretha Franklin, Gladys Knight, Melba Moore, and Temptations lead singer David Ruffin for whom he wrote the hit Walk Away From Love. He was a partner in McCoy/Kipps Productions with Van McCoy, whose recording of The Hustle topped the Billboard charts. He is also a writer/producer who has won an Emmy, Peabody, Humanitas Prize, and Mystery Writers Edgar Award.
